  How To Shoot A Video

Some additional notes:

  • Shoot the main shot of you talking then add supplemental footage and images after. You generally don't want to interrupt the narrative, but if you do then that b-roll clip should help with progressing the narrative
  • Hide jumpcuts with b-roll, images, or make it seem intentional by zooming on on yourself (only zoom in on yourself if you're trying to emphasize a point)
  • Add snapchats for authenticity when explaining something
  • Be sure to have to depth to the background of the shot so it doesn't feel so clustered
  • If the sun is shining straight at you then try closing your blinds a bit to soften the light
